El Fogón Mexican Kitchen is an absolute gem! The ambiance is warm and inviting, and the people there make the experience even better. The place itself is stunning—it truly transports you to the heart of Guadalajara. Their tequila is incredibly smooth, and the food is nothing short of amazing. We highly recommend this spot for anyone craving authentic Mexican flavors. Can’t wait to visit again!

Nice ambiance with appropriate Mexican themed decor and music. Plenty of parking is available. Lunch menu prices are on par with similar restaurants, about $16 per dish. The servers were attentive and checked regularly on our table. The food is good but not great. Some dishes like the flautas were a disappointment, in addition their shrimp is served unpeeled and difficult to eat. However, overall it is a good place to enjoy a meal and worth a try if you're in the area.

Stopped by for lunch and a margarita! The prices during lunch were very much affordable.. portion size & flavor of the food was great! service was very attentive. I’ll definitely be back .. my only issue was I wish my drink could have been stronger other than that El Fogon is a must try if you are in the area.

I love this place. For my first time visiting, I was pleasantly impressed. The place was clean and chic. The chips and red salsa were delicious. I only stopped to get a taco but had a margarita and the mini Pastor tacos. Felix, the bartender, was very welcoming. The tacos came with avocado and grilled onions, which most places charged extra. The margarita was tasty. I even met the manager, Marcos, who suggested we come for brunch on the weekend. I will definitely be back

This is a good place to get authentic Mexican food. The michelada was refreshing and cold, and the strawberry margaritas were a bit too sweet. Overall, the food had good flavor and was fresh. The tortillas could be better. Service was very helpful and friendly. I'd definitely come back.

Happened to come for their grand opening. Even for a raining night, the place is packed with customers. We arrived around 5:40 and got a booth right away. The service staff was attentive and kind. Food came very quickly even with a full house of guests. The steak was tender and flavorful. Quesadillas were very good too. Live band added to the cheerful atmosphere. A good place to revisit for family dinner.

I don't think this restaurant even had its official grand opening, but we are huge fans!! Coming from the Jalisco region of Mexico, amazing authentic dishes that are mouth-watering. If you like octopus, you will adore their version. And the shrimp fajita-- I have not seen anything like it in Houston! Beyond the meal, service was outstanding. Our server Mayo was genuinely friendly, warm, knowledgeable and makes you want to come back and have another meal together. It's a pretty big restaurant with a private area as well so you have lots of options for private parties, business meals, or just a great dinner in general.

The food is excellent, and the service is on the money. There is a huge variety of delicious dishes and some really great drinks; try the watermelon mint margarita, and the guac is so fresh and amazing. All this at very good prices.
